Several apartment complexes rise in the long beach of Los Alamos and its promenade. The bathing areas are appropriately marked and the sand bar hosts a stranded space for small boats.
Also known as beach of El Cañuelo, is a semi-urban beach of golden sand and moderate waves, located on the northern edge of the city. It is a beach with an average occupancy level, being the furthest from the city center.
In September, in addition to organizing concerts and promotions, Tourist Day is celebrated with an exhibition of dressage Andalusian horses.
In early 2004 a new promenade was build, with provision of street furniture, trees, bushes, public parking and sanitation and communications channel is opened.

Is accessible by car and there is enough parking area although in summer can be difficult to find one free. There is also a train stop named after the beach.
