In Carvajal beach waters are fairly quiet. It is easily accessible on foot.
It is right on the border with Fuengirola, so both municipalities claim its property.
Great beach and easy access to the sea, with chiringuitos and small bars just across the street. There is an attraction called 'costawaterpark' - is a floating water attraction.
The average occupancy rate is high. Semi-urban beach with promenade with high-rise buildings, awarded with the blue flag, mainly composed of dark sand and gravel. Access to the showers is very easy and convenient through several wood paths.
The beach is nice and quiet, the water is perfect for swimming. Medium / low waves, ideal to go with children or elderly people.
One famous bars is Bar la Cubana. There you can take a cold beer overlooking the sea.
The beach is well equipped and has young atmosphere.
Carvajal beach has common services like bus parking, toilets, showers, telephone, umbrella, deck chairs and sun loungers rental, also water sports.
This beach has one of the first aid posts of the Red Cross. You can rent pedal boats and kayaks as well as some of the more than a hundred hammocks and parasols that are in this part of the coast. In the vicinity there are several bars and a small playground made of wood.
Getting to Carvajal beach
Easy access by foot and by car, access for the disabled. From Malaga, take the old N-340 and upon arriving at the end of Fuengirola, is located on the seafront and is contiguous with the municipality of Benalmádena.
