Paseo de los Pinsapos, Estepona
The Natural Park of Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja, a total of 1,236 hectares protected, sits at the confluence of the towns of Estepona, Casares Genalguacil and although most of its pinsapar belongs to Genalguacil. It is part of the massif of Sierra Bermeja in the valley Genal and the Serrania de Ronda separates the Mediterranean coasts along 35 kilometers. The mountain range has an average height of 1,000 meters and is situated between the Sierra de las Nieves and Pico de Los Reales.
Stroll through the Royal Sierra Bermeja is to enter a wonderful landscape pinsapar cast with reddish rocks, which gives its name to the mountains, and that makes it stand out from the white limestone of the Sierra de las Nieves and the Sierra Blanca of Marbella.
