In Fuengirola, specifically in the well-known Calle Moncayo, you will find the place where Castilla cuisine and Mediterranean cuisine perfectly merge.
That place is called Restaurant Casa Castellana and prepares you for the most traditional dishes from the lands of the centre of Spain. Have you ever tried a succulent “carrillada de cebón”? Now you don't need to move from the Costa del Sol to live this unique culinary experience. Meats, and more specifically roasted Castilian style meats, gather in droves to the delight of the most carnivorous mouths. You cannot miss the opportunity to try the shoulder blade or leg of baby lamb “churro castellano” or the succulent homemade roasted piglet.

However, Casa Castellana also brings an international touch to its menu with some delicious dishes as Wagyu beef from Japan, a tasty French Chateaubriand or its juicy Black Angus from US lands. And, of course, its “carne a la piedra” house specialty or a plate of cured Iberian ham. Delicious, isn’t it?

But not everything will be products from the land: prawns in Pil-Pil, homemade ajimiel cod or red tuna fillet are just some examples of how Casa Castellana’s menu stretches. Without forgetting other masterful creations as its traditional Andalusian gazpacho, its succulent Txangurro cannelloni or its croquettes of Iberian ham, crawfish and mushrooms.

Its wine list is also a selection of the best wines of different Spanish certificates of origin. This, added to the exquisite decoration of the establishment and the great service provided by the staff, makes Casa Castellana a unique place to fill the stomach in Costa del Sol without breaking the piggy bank. Try it and you will feel like at home.
