El Refugio de Juanar is the restaurant of a Hotel of the same name, located in the stunning setting of Llanos de Juanar. The amazing and lush vegetation, transport us to another time, when nature, not man, was the absolute queen of the planet.

El Refugio de Juanar is on the level of the landscape. Decorated in rustic and castizo Spanish style, once you are in, it transports you to other ages.
The cuisine of El Refugio de Juanar can be proud of their delicious dishes inspired by the landscape around them. A cuisine based in hunting pieces. This is the real specialty of the house.
Pickled partridge, rabbit, deer, pheasant, quail, mountain goat.
Typical dishes of Spanish cuisine are also recommended, such as baked goat, lamb, suckling, pig Serranillos style, stew, goose liver etc.
Of course these delicious dishes are seasoned with a selection of wines from its own wine cellar. With more than 7,000 bottles of Rioja, Ribera del Duero, etc. It is possible to visit it and learn more about Spanish wines. With each drink you can taste Iberian ham or cheese with origin denomination.
The winery, built in 1996, is in the basement of the hotel, with an independent climate for wine and hams.
